Courons MTL was born out of a shared passion for running and a vision: to make Montreal a destination of choice for runners from around the world and to bring the community together through major events.

Founded by a group of experienced entrepreneurs and athletes, our organization aims to be the benchmark for running in Montreal.

Courons MTL is proud to organize the two largest running events in the metropolitan region:

A world-class marathon in the heart of our city that attracts more than 27,000 runners each year.

The first race of the year, a must for the Montreal running community.

Our team

Courons Montréal was founded by a group of enthusiasts who wanted to combine their expertise in event organization with their love of the sport. They have been working in this field for decades.

We are privileged to benefit from the skills of these seasoned professionals who have been involved in the organization of major events such as the Grands Prix Cyclistes in Quebec City and Montreal, IRONMAN 70.3 and Mont-Tremblant, the Montreal International Triathlon and many others.

We work together to bring our expertise to the running community and create unique and memorable experiences.
